I think one of my factions is Evil Green/Good Red: The wood elven tribes of Farnmont have come under the rule of Corvain, a human kingdom which now exploits the forest that the wood elves depend on. Though many wood elves, especially the elders who still remember the war, want to make a deal with the humans, some want to take matter into their own hands. The Scoia'tael, consisting mostly of the angry youth of the tribes, have begun sabotaging the forestry and disrupting any travelers through the woods. Their strikes are fast and devastating, before they retreat into the safety of the forest. The reasoning for Evil Green is that they are a faction that sees the humans use of the forest as exploiting, and would rather have the humans out. Yet their cause is a valid one, since they depend on the forest to live, making it an act of rebellion against an oppressive force, which make up the Good Red part. What do you think? Am I wrong with the colors or do you have something else to add to this faction?

I think 4 color cards are best left to Legendary Creatures and spells that you only really need to run one of. 4 color creature work best as Commanders, allowing a deck access to a wider pool of cards.

I honestly prefer top down design as a fellow lover of the color pie, In new sets I always want to see how colors manifest in different environments and I think mechanics should be fun but reflect the lore. Bottom up feels to to me like how some cartoons get their plot decided by the toy company

I would actually make Alucard as Mardu because despite it all he does have some alien, if cruel code of ethics. Arya I think is more experience. John Constantine in my opinion is a heroic leaning Grixxis. Lupin as a Izzet type seems all too perfect. Magneto I would actually make a four color, adding white to it. Rorschach is either Orzhov as shown here or a really messed up version of Azorius. Wednesday I think might be Sultai.

I got dimir in both color tests I took, and it’s definitely aligns with my view on life, but in the game itself I prefer mono blue, I just love the whole scientist/artificer/hyperintellegent creature aesthetic too much

I fucking love Urabrask, he’s literally the best boy. Green is no stranger to natural hierarchies. White ultimately believes that the community is more important than the individual. Black is all about competition and self determination. So what would happen if Selesnya was forced into extreme competition with another group? What natural hierarchies would emerge to preserve the community?

Despite how opposite black and white may seem, to me it somehow makes perfect sense. It's a kind of dangerous hypocrisy and outright lie I find in many who hold themselves in high regard

Unity can be found in passions, goals, and ideals; but to do it with blind acceptance and forced unitarianism is more than a philosophy, it's a religion. They speak of acceptance but are quick to outcast anyone who dares progress for themselves or think too differently to disrupt the status quo. Green/White makes my skin crawl. It's worldly grandstanding come to reality. It's a forced utopia, where nobody is truly happy, just content. Such a world is a personal hell to me. To never see your potential, never know what it is, and never desire for it is a sad tale. Dystopian ideals that are hardly human. It's like a slowly corruptive hive mind. *I'm Grixis [B/U/R],* and I see the world for what it truly is. I see through the hypocrisy of society and embrace it. Power is what decides this world. It is not given, but only taken. You must do whatever you can to survive, adopt, and overcome. Follow your ambitions and learn better ways to master your mind. I can't see anything in Selesnya than layers of mind slavery. It denies everything of the human experiance. They speak of acceptance, but you lose all individuality. It's like taking a color in a painting and swirling it with the rest until it's nothing but a grey glob. Yes, I'm ignoring law, order, traditions, and worldly balance but that's because those are things that anchor us and restrict our potential. The world exist, so you must carve _your_ piece in it, not conform to it; much less to fit another person's. You're your best master. When you let regulations hold you back from living your life, it no longer is your life.

At its worst, Abzan is a wedge that exerts its power over many in service of only a few, while forcing what it deems "natural" onto that populace, leading to suffering of the masses, regardless of reason *or* the feelings of others. I find myself at odds with this color combination quite often. Yet finding harmony within oneself is important, as what good are you to everyone around you if you don't take care of yourself?

Oh. What if the missing color wasn't just missing but had been suppressed to the point it was nearly extinct. This could lead into a block. First set is as you have. Then second set could be the missing trying to revive on the plane and how the rest would fight against it's return since it would threaten the known way of life they have known for so long. Then maybe 3rd set being a unification or eradication of the color. Story wise it could be cool, design wise maybe a bit harder.
